Cheese

Ashlyn is obsessed with pictures these days.  Taking pictures, looking at pictures, having her picture taken and everything is a camera...her fork, her brush, her toothbrush...basically anything that is slightly rectangular!  She has even figured out how to take a real picture on my phone.  Look out paparazzi...here comes you newest photographer!

A second date

"Cashlyn" had so much fun on their pizza date, they went on a second date...to the park and story time!  Of course they had chaperones!

Snuggles with Great Grandma Sally

Grandma Sally had been a little under the weather so when we went to visit, she crawled back in bed after a while for a little rest.  It was Paxton's nap time too so they got a little snuggle time!  Notice neither is sleeping :)

Triple date

We found a new Tuesday night special to replace our old "spaghetti night".  Campisi's, in our new stompin' grounds" offers 1/2 price bottles of wine with a free pizza buffet.  Pretty unbelievable!  We met Kally, Meredith and Cash for dinner.  It had been a while since Cash and Ashlyn had seen each other.  They had a blast.  Now we've got to find Paxton a "date" so he isn't the 7th wheel :)

What a fun Friday!  We started out the morning at the park before we headed to the library for story time and to check out a few more books.  Ashlyn is loving her library books.  Angela (a friend from work) and her 17 month old daughter, Mary, met us for story time.  Story time was a little crowded so we may try a different day.  Afterwards, the girls had fun running around in the courtyard by the fountain.  Ashlyn loves throwing pennies into the water.  We headed home for a nap before we met Abby, Lainey (+ a friend) and Walker out for custard.  The kids were a mess eating their drippy frozen treats!  We ran home and had a quick dinner before heading over to John and Amanda's house for a drink and to let the kids play.  Walker is 4 and Hannah Kate is almost 2.  They had so much fun!  It was an awesome day!

Enjoying the fall

We have been spending a lot of time outside since the weather is finally cooling off.  Both children LOVE being outside.  We usually hit up the playground/park in the morning and then go for a walk in the afternoon.  Paxton loves napping in the Moby wrap while Ashlyn plays.  Here are a couple really cute pictures of Ashlyn from our playtime this morning!

Roll over, roll over

Paxton has successfully rolled from his back to his tummy and tummy to back by himself (without the help from his sister)!  I wouldn't say he is "rolling"yet, because I think he needs to do it more consistently, but he has rolled!
