Step 1: Remember at bedtime that homework is due the next day

Step 2: Locate a wooden pencil

Step 3: Locate a sharp wooden pencil because you can't find the sharpener

Step 4:  Complete Pre-K3 homework!

Pre-K 3 is the place to be!

Ashlyn moved up to Pre-K 3 this week.  She had a good great (her words) first day of school.  She loves her teachers and Skyler didn't hit her!

Rocking Crew4Crew

I really am not too sure how this all started!  Ashlyn painted a rock and she gave it to Pop Pop.  He took it to work to use as a paper weight. He called a few days later and asked if she would sell her rocks.  They were a hit at work!  Chance said she would paint the rocks for donations for Crew4Crew.  And so it began!  Since then, she we have been painting rocks like crazy!

Paxton took a pretty hard spill tonite as he was rounding the corner to head down the hallway.  He fell on the tile and smacked his head pretty good :(  He no longer walks...he runs!  Everywhere! This isn't the first and I know it won't be the last, but it doesn't make it any easier!

Meet the teacher

Ashlyn moves up to the Pre-K 3 class next week.  She got to meet her teachers Ms. Cindy and Ms. Allison tonite.  On our way to the school we were talking and she said, "I like Ms. Cindy.  She doesn't hit me."  Being a little confused and concerned, I asked "who hits you?"  She told me "Skylar hit me at school yesterday".  Low and behold we get to her class and see her seating assignment...right next to Skylar!  No hitting Skylar!

Handstand mishap

I have been loving yoga lately!!!  I'm addicted.  I injured my wrist a few years ago at work and I occasionally do something that bothers it.  This time it was a handstand in yoga!  Ouch.  A few days in the brace and it should be good to go.  The hardest part is missing a few days of yoga!

Ashlyn's cousin Whitney gave her some hand-me-down shoes and I haven't been able to get this pair off of her!

Anything you can do...

I can do better!  So not only did Paxton get hand, foot and mouth (like his sister did around his age) he also got an accompanying ear infection!  He started with fever on Friday and it just went downhill from there.  I took him to urgent care on Saturday and she confirmed what I feared...HFM & an ear infection!  He started antibiotics and finally started feeling better on Tuesday.  Ashlyn started with a fever on Sunday that lasted on and off until Tuesday.  But nothing else really came of it, thank goodness!  It was a rough weekend and early week!  So glad everyone is feeling better and Paxton's hand, foot and mouth was mild!
