Meet Kenzie!

Crew got a new silver lab puppy and Chance and the kids got to deliver her to her new home!  Kenzie almost didn't make it to her final stop because we almost kidnapped her! She is the cutest puppy ever!

Superhero

I used to think superheroes wore capes and masks and flew in to save the day.  Turns out they look more like this...our nephew, Crew Avery...fighting cancer!  Crew was diagnosed with Stage 4 Phase 1 Non-Hodgkins Precursor T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukemia.  He is my superhero!

Here are a few pictures from his stay at Cook's Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth as he was undergoing testing and beginning the induction phase of his treatment.  This kid is amazing.  Say a prayer for ultimate healing!  We love you Crew!

Happy Valentine's Day!  We started out the day with a breakfast treat (yes, we sang happy birthday with our Valentine's donut) and a few little surprises.  The balloons were the biggest hit.

Then, the kids and I loaded up and met Chance for a Valentine's lunch!  After lunch we killed time at the mall until Chance got off work and we headed over to Cook's to give Crew a little Valentine's gift.  He was feeling pretty good and we had a great visit!

Valentine's Party

We were invited to a Valentine's Party at Wyatt and Hannah Kate's house!  We had a wonderful lunch, lots of sweets, play and craft time and exchanged valentines.  It was so much fun! Thanks Amanda!
