Trout fishing

One of the local ponds was stocked with 3,000 trout for the kids to go fishing. We hit up the pond around 9 am but never got a single bite. Maybe it was too windy?  Maybe we had the wrong bait (corn and string cheese)?  Maybe they caught all of the fish before we got there?  That must have been it!  The kids had a great time nonetheless.  It was a bit chilly though!

Splatter polish

Take your eyes off him for a second and what does get in to?  Ashlyn's nail polish!!!  I guess of all places for him to decide to splatter paint, the porcelain tub was the easiest to clean!  This boy!!!

Stomatitis????

I've never even heard of stomatitis!!  Paxton wasn't acting like himself for the past couple of days.  Not eating well, waking up at night and drooling.  I thought he was getting his 2 year molars.  Picked him up from school today and his poor tongue looked like this and his teacher said he cried for me all afternoon. :(.  Took him to the urgent care because I had no idea what it was (and feared hand, foot and mouth...again!).  Turns out it is called stomatitis. It took about 4 or 5 days to go away.  Once we started the miracle mouthwash he seemed to feel a little better.  Poor dude!

Can't leave them alone for a second!

Ashlyn and I ran a few errands and this is what we came home to...chance gave Paxton a haircut!!!  In their defense it turned out really cute!!
