Ashlyn wanted to get in her old crib.  When she did, she snuggled right up like the old days.

Ashlyn didn't do this kind of stuff!!!  I walked into the living room this morning and found him surfing on the rocking chair!  He is a handful!!!  Love him to pieces :)

Best friends

We went to Abilene for the weekend and these girls had a blast!!!  They are inseparable.  I am so glad they are so close in age and have so much fun together!  We hear a lot less arguing, screaming, crying and fighting and a lot more giggling, whispering and smiling these days.  And of course there is a little boy who thinks they are pretty cool and wants to be in the middle of whatever they are doing!  One of their favorite things to do this weekend was to build a fort in Neena and Papa's room.  They would bring snacks and books and flashlights and hide out!  They also had fun swimming, painting, playing dolls and getting their nails done!!!  Such sweet cousins.

Crew has a tough block of treatment coming up so Ashlyn gave him a special heart shaped rock she found and made for him and all of the money she has made by selling pet rocks for donations.  She wants him to buy something fun to entertain him during his tough treatments he has this next month!  We love our superhero!!!!

Pop-up books

Paxton loves pop-up books but he jumps every time the page pops out at him.  It cracks me up.  I am posting this little random fact  because it reminded me that Ashlyn used to do the same thing!

More details later but we are building a house!!!  Should take about 6 months to complete and is going to be perfect for our family!  We are very excited!

Pre-K 3 is the place to be!

Ashlyn moved up to Pre-K 3 this week.  She had a good great (her words) first day of school.  She loves her teachers and Skyler didn't hit her!

Rocking Crew4Crew

I really am not too sure how this all started!  Ashlyn painted a rock and she gave it to Pop Pop.  He took it to work to use as a paper weight. He called a few days later and asked if she would sell her rocks.  They were a hit at work!  Chance said she would paint the rocks for donations for Crew4Crew.  And so it began!  Since then, she we have been painting rocks like crazy!

We got a little crazy with the paint
