Jules turns 4

We headed to Abilene for Jules' 4th birthday!  It was a fun weekend with family and the girls had a blast together as always!  So cool having a cousin so close in age.  And they let Paxton tag along too. Happy birthday Jules!

This year we had a bull in a china shop and Cinderella!  The weather was perfect and we trick or treated with The Beckleman's and gang!  The kids had a ball and got lots of candy!   I don't remember getting so much candy growing up!

"Harvest"party at Merryhill

The kids had parties at school on Halloween but they were called harvest parties.  No costumes for this one (they got to dress up for trunk or treat).  Ashlyn's party was at lunch time so I missed it, but I made it for Paxton's.  His teachers are so amazing!  The love and effort they put into each day for these kids is beyond anything I have seen.    We love you Ms. Jez and Ms. Malriah!  Ashlyn's teachers are great too, but her class gets down to business!

Pumpkin carving

So I woke up this morning realizing tomorrow is Halloween and we haven't been to the pumpkin patch or carved a pumpkin yet!  Having the day off from work and school I thought we might be able to sneak in a quick trip before the weather turned rainy.  Didn't make it in time and the patch was covered with a tarp :(. Headed to Target for a few items and they had a bin full of pumpkins!  Yay for the "pumpkin patch" at Target!  We made homemade pizza and carved our pumpkin when Chance got home from work. Paxton would not even sit by the pumpkin! He was scared of it...it was so sad!!
