Blast Ball

Let the games begin!!  The kids are playing blastball with a couple of friends from the neighborhood.  Blastball is an intro to t-ball.  The games are 20 minutes long.  There are no practices.  The kids hit the ball off the tee and run to first base.  It is so simple but they love it!  And the best part...they can play on the same team!

Nailed it!

Kristin and I had a great idea on St. Patrick's Day to try this cute paint activity with the kids.
Nailed It!  Thank you Pinterest!
They "painted" with the bell peppers for all of about 30 seconds.  Then somehow they ended up in their skivvies and were covered head to toe in paint!!  They had a great time!
We finished up St. Patty's Day with a green dinner complete with green milk and green rice crispy treats for dessert!

Paci frog

Ruh Roh!  We were playing with all of the stuffed animals in the tent and Paxton came out with this in his mouth!  I knew there was a straggler somewhere!  Hoping this isn't trouble.  We have been paci free for over a month!

Vanns Annual St Patty's Day Party

Another one in the books!  A little damp and chilly but that didn't stop us from having a blast as always!

I tried really hard to get a picture of Paxton
in the green mustache but he wasn't cooperating!
Almost 20 years with these girls!
Celeb sighting! Chandler Parsons from the Dallas Mavericks saw the bounce house and stopped by for a quick jump!

Quadruple trouble

These 4 have so much fun together!  And the 2 littlest "Linkwood Littles" aren't too far behind them! I am so excited for these kids to grow up together!

Snow day take 2

We woke up to 6 inches of fresh snow! And the sun was out too.  We borrowed some proper snow gear from our friends and we hit the powder!  It was so much fun...and we lasted so much longer with the sun and warm clothes!  *side note...Paxton did not have gloves so I put a pair of cotton mittens on his hands then a ziploc baggie then a pair of my wool socks.  His hands were covered in snow but when I took the layers off, his hands were warm and sweaty!  Score 1 for the homemade gloves! In the morning we hit up the playground and a hill for some sledding.  It was so much fun playing with all the neighbors.  I am not sure who had more fun the kids or the adults!
We went sledding on feed sacks
Took me back to my younger days!
These 2!
Love this mama!!!!
So this requires an explanation!  Our neighborhood had a snowman building contest. So, after lunch and naps we bundled up and went back out to make our entry!  Kristin had already started rolling the bottom layer and I started working on the middle section.  When we got them side by side they were exactly the same size and oddly enough looked like a pair of snow boobs!  We had to make a bikini to keep them decent! We were too embarrassed to enter this into the contest so we kept working and ended up making 3 blind mICE, repurposing our halloween costumes!  We won "most creative"!
