We took a day trip out to visit Grandma Sally and we got to see the rest of the family too!  Mimi, PaJ, Aunt T, Brennan and Dillan were all there!  We had a great visit.  Ashlyn got some snuggle time with PaJ!

Prince isn't the only one who can change his name!  Ashlyn has formally renamed Gma and Gpa, Gigi and Pop Pop!  Being the first grandchild she had the priveledge of choosing their names.  We suggested Gma and Gpa and that is what we have been calling them but her pronunciation turned them into Gigi and Pop Pop!  Pretty cute!  And Aunt Sarah is officially Aunt Rah Rah.  Love it

No, this is not a post about our pay per view on U-verse...this is about my change in thinking with our little guy.  With Ashlyn, I read Babywise and had a lot of success with their fairly rigid schedule...eat, play, sleep.  Not sure if I should credit Babywise or her stay in the NICU...but it worked very well for her.  I am finding that Paxton is a little different.  It has been very challenging to get him on a good schedule...partially because of his fussy tummy and inability to sleep well on his back and partially because we have been on the go a lot more with him because he has an older sister.  So I have decided to try a few new things.  For starters, I am weening him on to a hypoallergenic formula for about a week to see if that helps his tummy.  I am still pumping and plan on returning to primarily nursing/breastmilk bottles once I get it all figured out.  We are on day 3 of formula and I think it may be helping.  If this is the case, I will try and be even more strict about cutting out dairy.  And second, I am going to go with a more demand type schedule...I will feed him when he is hungry and he can sleep when he is tired.  I am quickly learning that no 2 kids are alike and what worked for Ashlyn may not work for him.  So I am going to give this a shot...wish us luck!

Week 3 of lessons

Ashlyn had a great week of swimming lessons!  She made a lot of progress.  Ms. Sherri thinks based on her progress this week she will need 2 maybe 3 more weeks!  It is a lot of work to get the 3 of us ready and loaded up every morning for a 10 minute lesson, but it is really worth it!  And it gives us something to do in the mornings.  It is really too hot to do much else outside!  Ashlyn had an audience at her lessons this week.  Gma came on Monday, Daddy came on Tuesday and Mimi came on Thursday (I forgot to take her picture with Mimi:(!  And then, I went to work on Friday and Chance worked from home so her took her to her lesson!

Chance blew up Ashlyn's ball pit for a little indoor fun!  We left it up for a week.  She had a blast!
