Felices Pascuas

We loaded up and headed to Emory for the weekend to celebrate Aunt T's birthday and Easter.  We started out with a trip to 1st Monday in Canton, with mimosas...the bday girl's request!
Ready for Canton
We didn't buy a lot of the prize purchase was the birthday sombrero!  I only paid $10 for this legit sombrero.  It weighs like 10 pounds and is sure to provide a few chuckles down the road!
Tuckered out
We headed home for nap time and then had a fun afternoon of coloring Easter eggs and a fish fry for Aunt T's birthday.

The sombrero made its rounds!
Dillan was awesome and pushed Paxton all over the place in his stroller
Crew4Crew representing!
We had a little run in with the water hose...oops!
Easter morning the kids woke up and found their Easter baskets the Easter bunny left for them.  Ashlyn had a blast looking for her eggs.  Each time she would find one, she would cover her mouth with her hands, squat down and shriek!  It was too cute. I caught it on video, but wasn't able to upload it (yet..I'll keep trying).

We headed over to Grandma Sally's for Easter brunch and another egg hunt.  Here are a few pictures!

My favorite picture!
We loaded up and headed home to have dinner with Gigi, PopPop and RahRah.  As we pulled off, I received a frantic phone call from Mimi saying "The sombrero, the sombrero!".  We put it on top of the truck as we loaded up and ALMOST drove home with it on the luggage rack.  That would have been tragic if it had blown away!
We took a little stroll to the park after dinner (ribs and cheesy noodles...yum!) and enjoyed the wonderful weather!  Felices Pascuas from The Wimberlys!

10 months old

Well...only 2 stickers left! Let the birthday party planning begin! Here is what Paxton has been up to...

Pax Facts:
Wears-size 9-12 months clothes, size 2-3 shoes and size 4 diapers
Eats-4-6ounce bottles a day + 3 meals of mostly finger foods (still does some purees...mostly for convenience) at breakfast, lunch and dinner. He feeds himself really well and the mouth to floor ratio is improving! The dogs are sad about that! He is also starting to try to use the spoon. He holds his own bottle and drinks really well from a sippy cup! I would list his favorite foods...but there really isn't anything that he doesn't like!
Sleeps-12 hours at night and is still up maybe once or twice a night but is sleeping through the night more often. He is getting to be a really good napper and still takes 2 a day. He plays in his crib for a while when he wakes up and is always smiling when I walk in to get him!
New stuff-he pulls up on everything and is starting to cruise a little bit. He will also let go for a few seconds until he realizes he isn't holding on any more!!  He can clap, give five and kisses and raise his arms up "so big".  Some of his favorite things are..."helping" with laundry and vacuuming, splashing in the bathtub, feeding himself finger foods and his bottles, dumping out the dogs water, opening and emptying cabinets, pulling EVERYTHING out of Ashlyn's kitchen in her room, opening and closing doors, chewing on shoes (and everything else he can get his hands on), remotes, phones, cords and pretty much everything else I don't want him to play with!!!  He keeps me on my toes for sure!  He loves putting things into and taking them  out of buckets or containers.  He loves to "tease" you and act like he is going to give you something and then pulls it away and laughs hysterically.  He likes to hear his echo when we walk out into the hallway and always makes a loud "eh" sound.  He babbles a lot and says mama, dada, baba and other sounds.  He puts the phone up to his ear and points the remotes towards the TV...how does he already know that???  He has the cutest bed head when he wakes up in the morning or after a nap.  He is still pretty easy going...but definitely will let you know when something isn't up to par!
Not so new-he still doesn't like getting dressed or having his diaper changed or getting strapped into his car seat!
We love you Paxman!!  You are such a charmer :)

Pictures at 10 months!

Good shot of his 2 teeth!
Ashlyn was a little more cooperative this month
And that was the end of the pictures!
Here are a few shots of what he would rather be doing!
Pulling on cords
Standing up on the chair
Putting everything in his mouth
Destroying Ashlyn's kitchen
Opening and closing doors
Crawling around with a toy in his mouth like a dog

And a few funny shots of Ashlyn

Starting to get silly

I told her to look up...this is what I got
then down...
Just right!
