10 months old!

I know I say it every month, but now that we are in double digits it really amazes me how fast she is growing up.  I can't believe she is 10 months old already.  Here is an update from this past month!

Weight-16 lbs 11 ounces
Height-not sure how tall she is but we had to raise the exersaucer, so I know she is growing!
Diapers-size 3
Clothes-mostly 9 mos, but can wear some 6 and 12 month stuff.  She still wears size 1 & 2 shoes...she has the tiniest feet!
Eats-solid foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner and takes 3-4 (6 ounce) bottles of formula a day (no more nursing...we made it 10 months, but both were ready to ween it).
Sleeps-goes to bed at 8 and wakes up between 8-9.  She usually goes to bed very easily after a bottle and rocking for a few minutes.  She make wake up once or twice during the night and cry for a few seconds, but she finds her pacifier and puts herself back to sleep.  She always wakes up happy and will usually play in her crib for a while before we get her up.  She still is not a great napper.  She is the cat nappin' queen!  She gets 2-3 30 minute naps throughout the day, but sometimes will sleep for 1.5 hours when she is really tired.
Medicines-we cut back one dose of the Propranolol (Hemangioma medicine) at 9 months and are supposed to cut back to one dose a day at 10 months.  We don't go back to the doctor until April so we are monitoring it closely.  She has still been taking the Prevacid 2x a day for her reflux because every time we cut back on it, she starts spitting up again...even with solid foods!  We currently are out, so she hasn't had any in a couple days and seems to be doing better.  Hopefully she is growing out of it!
Teeth-2 on the bottom and 2 on the top (unfortunately the 2 on the top are her eye teeth...not the front ones so she looks like she is getting fangs!  We are hoping the front ones come in soon.

What's new this month?  The teeth are new and haven't really seemed to give her much trouble.  She still loves to put EVERYTHING in her mouth.  She waves bye-bye and she claps...not quite on command, but getting better.  She can go from sitting to laying down, but still needs a little help coming from laying to sitting.  She rolls all over the place and uses that as her primary means of mobility.  She can scoot backwards on her tummy and in circles.  The word of this month is mama and it makes me very happy!  Diaper changes are getting more difficult as she usually flips over on her tummy as soon as you put her on the changing table.  She is doing great with finger foods and can pretty much feed herself a whole meal.  She is starting to enjoy reading books.  We have always read to her, but it seems like she is more engaged...looks at the pictures and seems to be listening.

Loves!  Eating puffs.  Taking walks.  Petting her dogs and watching them play.  Grabbing noses and pulling hair (we are working on the word "gentle").  Bath time.  Playing on the floor.  Being outside.  Snuggling with her daddy.  Putting things in her mouth.  Playing in her exersaucer.  Drinking from a glass.  Avocados...probably her favorite food.  Car rides.  Her feet.  Tickling and being tickled.  Cell phones and remotes.

Not so crazy about...cottage cheese (but we keep trying).  Diaper changes.  Having clothes pulled over her head.  Being fastened in her car seat.  Being held facing inward...she will twist around so she is facing out and usually wants to be on the floor.  Slimy fruit.  Small dogs...she is actually very scared of them and she cries when they come up to her.  Getting stuck (and it happens often since she can only scoot backwards right now).  Having her face wiped.  By the way, it is very difficult to think of things Ashlyn doesn't like because she is such a happy baby!

We love you sweet Ashlyn Mae!

10 months old
You gotta be quick to catch her on her back
Bigger than the frog

Still the biggest, blue eyes!

Waving bye-bye

Bath time with Daddy always ends up with a goofy picture
So does breakfast!
This is what happens when Daddy picks out my outfit
(Yes, that is camo)
Cat nappin' after school
Wish her hair grew as fast as her nails do!
Conked out after a walk
Our mutual Valentine's Day gift
We got Ashlyn's picture framed!
She has the softest, most fair skin.
Doing time!
This picture is terrible quality,
but I love the look on her face

This is how she sleeps when she is on her back
It was risky taking these pictures, but too cute not to!
She loves shoes!
This is where she sleeps when she is sick and congested
Watching cartoons one morning
I usually get a picture like this everyday
around 10:00 when Chance takes Ashlyn to school!
Makes my day!

Stuck!
Loves to drink from a glass!
Yes, this is beer.
No, she didn't really drink it :)
